Satoen Group is a global company headquartered in Shizuoka, Japan—renowned for its rich tradition of tea cultivation. At Satoen, we take pride in our vertically integrated tea production process, from directly growing premium tea leaves in Japan to processing them into a variety of high-quality tea products such as Matcha, tea bags, and functional foods. Our expertise extends beyond food products into cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, all derived from the finest essence of tea.

Innovating with Tradition and Excellence

In Japan, we operate an in-house R&D institute dedicated to the research, development, and optimization of tea-based products. This innovation hub fuels our commitment to quality and ensures that every product we create carries the authentic essence of tea.

Due to the growing global demand for tea, in 2000, we embarked on a journey to expand beyond Japan. Satoen sent its most experienced engineers to neighboring regions to optimize production and increase efficiency, allowing us to reduce costs and serve a wider audience.

Satoen Vietnam – Expanding Our Legacy

After extensive research, we found an ideal climate and soil in Van Ho, Son La, Vietnam—remarkably similar to our homeland in Shizuoka. This led to the founding of Satoen Vietnam, where we apply the same expertise, precision, and dedication that we are known for in Japan.

With a core team of skilled Japanese tea masters and 100% imported machinery, Satoen Vietnam cultivates tea using proven Japanese methods. We are proud to employ a diverse workforce, including ethnic minorities from the highlands of Northern Vietnam, who contribute to our mission of sustainable and efficient tea production.

The result is high-yield, cost-effective tea that allows us to bring our Matcha and other tea products to even more consumers worldwide.
